BOM & Routing Revision Dates

When creating a WIP job and backward scheduling from the completion date both the BOM & Routing revision date is 24 hours less than the completion date.

if we forward schedule from the start date then the revision date is the same as the start date

Why are the revisions 24 hours earlier if backward scheduling?
