Create Web Service using External BC

Hi Experts,

We are developing inbound web service to fetch information from External BC (Integration Component), this external BC is connected to our Analytics DB.

can anyone please highlight the feasibility of this kind of integration.

We have BIP report based on this EBC which is working fine.

When i send the message using SOAP UI i am getting below error message, but the same IO is working fine for BIP report.

<ErrorMessage>EAI Adapter call failed with the error : An error has occurred creating business component 'Account Sales Data' used by business object 'Account'.Please ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration.(SBL-DAT-00222)</ErrorMessage>
