Retrieve Version Output Settings in ER

Is there a way within ER to retrieve the version output settings to variables?  I want to determine whether the output option for a version is set to CSV, or PDF to aid in determining how to manage the output file after the UBE/version is done generating the output.  This will be done using a wrapper UBE/NER that calls the UBE/version.
