Change Asset Category

We  had an issue with “Post Mass Addition”. All assets except one Invoice #  did not get from “POST” to “POSTED”. While checking , we realized that the Category for this asset is “COMPUTER EQUIP” Instead of “ COMPUTER”.  IF I try to change it, I am unable to change it – gives me an error – please help us to clear it and have this posted.
