How to delete a Contingent worker created by mistake in Oracle EBS?

I am trying to delete a Contingent worker created by mistake in Oracle EBS and couldn't succeed. Please let me know the steps as I tried to clear the Assignment record and record and then end placement but no luck. I tried to Delete Person option but get APP-PAY-06274: You cannot delete application users.
