Siebel Campaign Management - Email Blasts

Hi All,

I am trying to architect a design for our business that requires two things -

1. Segmentation on the fly by business personnel (we do not have any analytics tool like OBIEE etc, so this has to come from OLTP)

2. Email blasts (we do not want to go for Siebel Email Marketing Server or Email Daemon)

My question is -

1) Is it okay to have segmentation list prepared directly from Siebel (via batch job or manual) considering performance factors? I expect around 6 lakh records in a segment.

2) Can I use Outbound Communication Manager for Email blasts for targeted customers?
