Triggering Rehire Life Event- What is oracle recomanded process

Hello,

We would like to know the oracle's recommendation or if there is any seeded process for triggering Rehire life event. We have been doing this process manually till now by giving the employee a new hire life event. Since we would like to automate the process, we want oracle's recommendation.

Currently we are at release R12.2.5.
