Can't recover OMS from OMS Backup File because failed to connect to repository database

Dear all,

I have installed OMS (ÉM Cloud Control - Software only) on a new Windows 2012 Server. The Database is successfully cloned to the new Server.

Now I'm trying to recover the OMS from a backup file created on the source production Server (Windows 2008) doing: omsca recover -ms

All prerequisites are well with one exception:

OMSCA-ERR: Admin Server Hostname can not be resolved

OMSCA-ERR: Failed to connect to repository database with error: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection

I understand the message, because omsca tries to connect to the database on the source Server. I have no entry in tnsnames.ora for the source server.

Howdy, Stranger!
