Defaulting Rule

I am trying to create a defaulting rule in which I am trying to update the line type on the Sales Order line, based on the Sales Order Line type which is getting defaulted from the transaction type setup (the line type is getting defaulted from the Sales Order header type). No with the use of defaulting rule I want to update another line type again.

Is this possible?
