Unable to setup Credit card bank account for the customer. Credit card information on order is not v

Credit card is used only for information purposes. Credit card details (number, holder name, expiration date) are populated using defaulting rules as constant record having random details of holder name, card number and expiration date.

Order is created with payment term of Prepayment, Actions > Payments > payment types = credit card, credit details being populated from defaulting rules but getting an error 'Unable to setup Credit card bank account for the customer. Credit card information on order is not valid'.

As per metalink this is expected functionality to avoid using invalid credit cards.

but when in SO header > Other tab > Payment type = Credit card then Actions > Payment > Payment Type  = Credit card, no error is observed.
