FRM 40200 Field protected cannot amortize adjustment in Asset workbench

Hi All ,

I have made a cost adjustment in Asset workbench for a depreciating asset but not able to select amortize adjustment checkbox . Have tried to select amortize adjustment after changing the depreciation method for this asset . Both the times the check box could not be selected with standard message FRM40200 Field protected from update .

At the asset book control level the "Allow Amortize Changes" is enabled .

The cost adjustment and new depreciation method are both displayed in the Asset Financial Inquiry .Please advise if anything else needs to be checked
