Ex-Employees - randomly cannot be viewed in HRMS from the Search window - R12

Good Morning all!

I have an issue coming up that I cannot explain. We have been using Oracle HR since 1995 and are currently on R12. We recently started having an issue where randomly when specific hr users go to query up ex-employees, they don't show up in the search window. I cannot determine where the issue is coming from because by the next day, everything is fine again and all are viewable. Typically this occurs randomly on Fridays but this past week it occurred on a Wednesday and it doesn't occur every week but more random than that.

I have 2 HR reps that went to query up an ex-employee. They are both on the same security profile. This profile has been in use for over 10 years. When this occurs, I have another user on a different security profile who also cannot pull up the ex-employees, yet her co-worker can using same profile and responsibility. I am in IT and when I try to query up any of these people using any security profile, have no issue.
