EBS; migration to RAC

Hi all,

I'm going to migrate single node ebs 12.2 instance  to RAC.
My single instance RDBMS version is 12.1.0.2.0. And there will no any upgrade during the conversion.  Will I need to perform step 4.2.1.2 in Doc ID 1626606.1 in my case?

4.2.1.2 Apply all required database patches

To install the Oracle Database 12c Release 1 software and upgrade an existing database to 12c Release 1, refer to the Interoperability Notes for R12.2 MOS Knowledge Document <1926201.1>.

Follow all the instructions and steps listed in the Interoperability Notes for R12.2 MOS Knowledge Document 1926201.1 except for the following:

  • Start the new database listener (Conditional)
  • Implement and run AutoConfig
