DFW: Incident Creation

I am chasing a solution for a problem in my system and considering to apply a work-around from Oracle (Doc ID 2067407.1), which suggests to disable incidentCreation in dfw_config.xml.

I would like to have other people's input of your experience on what negative impact it may cause.
