Kit component not shipped along with kit parent item

Hi,

In sales order where kit parent is ship confirmed and moved status further but kit component lines are not ship confirmed and at status 560.

P4205 Processing options display po 2 set to blank where ship confirm screen shows only kit parent line.

Now system not allowing me to  ship confirm component lines or cancelling the component lines.

Quantity is hard committed to component locations .

I just wanted to cancel the entire order. so tried to change the order status to 980-999 for kit parent item but not able to move status for component lines.

shall I move component lines status to 980-999 to SQL.
