Can I define a Tax Rule that derives the 'Input Tax Classification Code' item attribute?

There is an Item Attribute called 'Input Tax Classification Code' (screenshot below). I would like to define a tax rule that uses this tax code during the tax calculation process. Any suggestions on how to define a tax rule that can achieve this?
