Can External Application access/Upload/download documents into Siebel File system in Bidirectional

Hello All,

We have new environment building Siebel IP 2015(15.9 patchset) on OEL 6.8 version require external Application(EPOS) to access/upload/download documents into  the Siebel File system in bidirectional Mode.

Please suggest whether it is possible?

If possible how it can achieve and whose involvement is required(Siebel Developer or Admin)

Please suggest for the same.
