PeopleSoft Asset Serial Numbers through BarCode Reader

We are planning to load Serial Numbers for Assets which are pre-loaded through AP to Asset pre-interface, through Bar Code reader. Just wondering whether this is doable.

Our Versions: PeopleSoft 9.0 MP5 -- PeopleTools 8.54.10. Database: SQL Server.
