SMTP for email communication configuration

Hi All,

We are looking for configuration of SMTP Server for Email communication in our non prod Siebel 15.9 env.

Please help with the steps involved from siebel admin to configure the email server.

Also do we require Smart Answer component to be enabled.

I am facing issue as it is offline always(do we require Smart answer comp).
