Normalization based on Payment Start and End Dates

My Client is a Telecom service provider, and wants to use Property Manager.

Below is the scenario, to install the towers, they enter lease contractors for 10 Yrs/ 15 Yrs.

And Pay the owner Annually.

Annual rent should be recognized periodically for 12 months.

If want to create a single lease for 10 yrs, and enter 10 payment schedules, each for 1 year.

Normalization is happening for 10 Years, for the 1st payment term.

Is there any way, changing the normalization basis from "Lease Start-End dates", to "Payment Start & End dates".
