Adding an additional ethernet adapter to Oracle Linux VM on X5-2

Thanks in advance for any direction.  I have a X5-2 appliance that is installed, running, configured, etc with an application on a VM (oracle linux vm OS) on the same machine.  I am looking to add one of the unused NIC cards (eth2 if relevant) to that VM for the application to use and was hoping to be directed to some documentation or some information to provide a walk-through or direction on how to do so.
