Moving Oracle 12c database from Solaris to Oracle Linux

I have not found a definite answer which would be better to move my entire database from one operating system to another? I don't really care about downtime.  I have heard of terms like golden gate and Crossover RMAN but don't know if there any others. I also don't know what would be the best thing to use for my use case. Both of these servers are on the same network if that makes a difference

Thanks for any help or direction you can give.
