How to enable Tools>Change Status in read only Discrete Jobs form

Hello,

We need users to only have access to form "Discrete Jobs" (WIPDJMDF) in query mode (read only mode); however, we need them to be able to change the job status using Tools>Change Status function, to cancel jobs or change Failed Closed jobs back into Complete.

Unfortunately this function is not accessible with form "View Discrete Jobs" or it does not work either if we create a new form (function) with type QUERY_ONLY = "YES".

In this case, Tools>Change Status is available, but when trying to apply user gets error message FRM-41050: You cannot update this record.

Anyone has any idea how to acheive our need ?
