Generate Run Balances
Hi Team,
We had an issue with W2 Year End process this year Jan 2017 where our GRE Totals and W2 Register Wages Does not Match and as per the Oracle Support we ran the Generate Run Balances with the start date as 01-Jan-2015 and it fixed the issue.Now we are seeing few balances off in our payroll run, like Payroll Register totals were off. We ran the Generate Run Balances with the Start date as 01 Jan 2017 again,but did not see any changes.
Per Best Practices: Generate Run Balance Payroll (Doc ID 335950.1)
It says Generate Run Balances - process should be run at least monthly for all invalid balances and also says to run it yearly. Not sure on what basis this should be considered and what dates to be used?
