If a supplier changes its name couple of months after it was added to JDE & some vchrs/payms exist f

If a supplier changes its name couple of months after it was added to JDE (and some vouchers/payments exist for that supplier), can alpha name for that supplier be changed? Also, which field in AB / Supplier Master would be most appropriate to record the old supplier name? Thanks in advance....
