Could not acquire large pages for 2Mbytes code

We are noticing this error "Could not acquire large pages for 2Mbytes code" randomly during WLS startup.Huge Page Size is set as 2MB. Will the problem be solved If we increase the page size to 4MB  by adding the parameter-XX:MaxLargePageSize=4M. Will there be any performance issue if we increase the page size. What has actually caused the page size to be insuff for wls to aquire as this was working fw months back? W
