Migrating EMPA enabled Hyperion planning application

We need the detailed steps to Clone an EMPA enabled Hyperion planning application from Production environment to a newly created clone environment which is totally separate from Production, i.e. the two environments are not under the same foundation or anything.

  - Our EPM version is 11.1.2.3.500 --on both environments.

We have already checked Oracle documentation, tutorials and Oracle KMs and we could not find in any of them what covers this case.

Any help would be appreciated.
