Does Reverse Auto Population functionality works from BP - Detail form to Configurable Module?

Hi All, We are planning to use Configurable module – Code Based linked to Line Item type Business process. One of the requirement was to RAP of currency amount field from BP detail form to CM sheet. When we did POC, the RAP was not working from BP to CM. Similarly, when we tried CM to BP – Auto population, it does work. Does this behavior is right? current unifier version is 16.2.7.0
