Has anyone used the dynHierRefresh() function new to v16?

I've followed the configtools guide to setup a rule group which contains nothing but a single rule to call dynHierRefresh() and assign the result to a Scalar text measure.

All the underlying measures are in place and the feedback measure contains 'Success' after running the custom menu. Unfortunately, nothing has changed in my in-workbook dynamic roll-up.

Just wondering if I am missing something or if this needs to be logged as a bug.
