Contract renewal & Termination-Service Fetch receivables program

Hi ,

Does the Service fetch receivables program impact contract renewal and termination?. After i run the autoinvoice program, my invoice is generated. Since i can view the invoice from tools--menu. should i need to run the program to populate the value in history tab?

Is there any dependency from histroy tab for contract renewals and termination?
