Which protocol is used when attaching a file to a Service Request in MOS?

Hello, when in MOS and attaching a file to a Service Request with the 'Add Attachment' button then 'Attach File' window what protocol is being used to upload the file? Is it using SFTP with TLS encryption? Thanks.
