Support of maxl perl module?

hello community,

within one of the last psu (11.1.2.4.015) for essbase server i read the following:

Unsupported Features

MaxL Perl Module Will No Longer Be Supported in 12.2.1.3.0

MaxL Perl Module will not be supported starting with Release 12.2.1.3.0.

the problem is, we use this for essbase dump import/export with multiple threads and will still need this in future.

will this still work for the mentioned versions even without support, or will it not work anymore?
