New Item is linked to a default Site in Demantra

Hi,

While creating a new item (through adding item in NPI list and running collections), item is created in t_ep_item table but also a combination is created in mdp_matrix table where item is linked to a Default Site.

As a second step, we use member management to link the item to required sites. After successful linking of new item to the site when we apply overrides at the Org-item level, values are also allocated to the default location which is not required.

How can we make sure that item is not linked to default site while creation?
