Work Order Header Status Update -> Blank

hi,

We are using work order processing to re-print shop floor work orders. The issue we are running into is that the work order status is coming up blank instead of the leaving it unchanged.  I looked into this and found that UDC 00/SS has a valid blank status code and it is hard coded.  What would I need to do to make sure that work order re-prints do not change the work order status?

We are on E1 9.1
