Installing goldengate on RAC systems
Hi Techies, We are trying to install Golden gate on RAC systems, Need your expertise help with regards to it.

We are trying to install goldengate on RAC system for high availability purpose .
The following are the steps followed:
- 1. Goldengate Installations: Oracle GoldenGate must be available on every server in the same location (e.g. /u01/app/ggate). You may choose to perform a local installation on every server, or a single installation on a shared file system. I am planning to install on Shared file system
- 2. Create an action program: An action program is a program that defines the location of your program, the monitoring frequency, and the start and stop actions that Oracle Clusterware should perform on the application. The start action starts the application, the stop action stops the application, and the monitoring or check action checks the application's status. The action program file will have start ,stop and check.
