How to disable the unused ledger from showing in LOV

Dear Legends,

Hope all are doing good!!

The issue is i have created one ledger during the initial application setup, after due to some reasons we are about to delete the ledger and created another ledger. Now the issue is

1. is it possible to disable/end date the another ledger which i created at first.

2. Where ever i am about to choose the ledger both the old ledger and new ledger is showing. is there any way to restrict user to only view the current active ledger (FYI : i have changed all the profile options in GL Ledger Set, even though its showing in the LOV's.
