Agile Import Wizard, javanoaction error and lacking ongoing import results

The import wizard in our production environment no longer provides an ongoing status of items processed as it is importing items from a spreadsheet. I've attached what the import tool looks like as it is ongoing and also the final results when it finishes importing the items. What would interfere with this ongoing status?
