the mouse is not responding

In our environment we have upgrade our server from kernel vmlinuz2.6.32-573.31 to kernel vmlinuz-4.1.12-94.3.4. the vmware tools are up-to-date and the vmware hardware is on level 11.

On some of our servers everything works fine, the servers reboot correctly but on others the mouse is not responding. When I use putty it all seems to work fine but accessing the terminal on vSphere client the mouse is not responding at all.

Can someone help us? Johan.
