Creating a new Batch Type that functions like Batch Type G (General Accounting)

Hello:

We are interested in partitioning certain General Ledger entries from the main GL entries by utilizing a different Batch Type.  We want this new Batch Type to function in the same manner as Batch Type G.  When I look at the P0911 program I don't see any options to do this - does anyone know if this is in a setup menu or other options?
