Spacewalk Proxy Error

Layout: Spacewalk Proxy <-----> Spacewalk Server

This is the error I'm getting: Error:Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository

Here's the interesting part--in /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date if I remove the https/sw_proxy_server_FQDN and replace with http://sw_proxy_server_FQDN then it works fine but as soon as I add the secure socket to the equation it errors out.

The Certificate is valid and if I use the same certificate and take the proxy out of the equation (even with https://) it works fine. I looked at the certificate when I installed the server and I used the FQDN of the server itself and the cert is valid.
