XML Gateway trading partner setup

I have a question about the XML Gateway trading partner setup. If we change the Protocol type from HTTPS-ATCH to HTTP-ATCH do we have to bounce the listeners or the application server, or will everything start working with the new changes after we hit save?

I wasn't sure if this was the correct area for this question, so if not, please advise where I should ask it.
