HI,

WE have a stuck transaction in IB with the error message "The Item is not Serial Controlled. You are trying to provide a Serial Number XXXXXXX for a Non-Serialized Instance.Instance validation failed". I came across the script (attached) from Metalink that suggests to remove the serial number from CSI_ITEM_INSTANCES table, however this we don't want to do.

The transaction failed is inspite of a Misc Issue transaction.

Can someone pls suggest is there a workaround like data fix to clear the error.
