Hi Experts,

Could you please advice on this ?

Customer is asking "is there any impact of changing SYSADMIN password using EBS screen without restart AP Tier?

FYI:

The customer is using EBS 11.5.10.2.

As we know , we can change SYSADMIN password by using command FNDCPASS,

but as the following Note mentioned after run FNDCPASS, it need to restart the Apache, Forms, Reports, 8.0.6 listener and concurrent manager services.

Does the restart also needed after changing SYSADMIN password from EBS screen?

How To Change The Password For The SYSADMIN User (Doc ID 423274.1)

        ------------------

        5. Run FNDCPASS to change the SYSADMIN password

        6. Restart the Apache, Forms, Reports, 8.0.6 listener and concurrent manager services.

Howdy, Stranger!
