JDE 910 Platform pack installation

I am installing JDE 910 on Windows 2008 R2 server and Oracle 11g database.

I have my Deployment server ready. Now installed the platform pack after successfully installing the 11g database.

Now want to understand the sequence as I could not find it in any document.

1. When should I validate the PPack installation with PORTTEST ? Should I do it only after running the workbench or can I do it now on the Enterprise server itself now? What ENV should I use if so ?

2. JDE account in DB is getting locked when I start the jdesnet service, I changed the default password in jde.ini of the enterprise server but still it is getting locked. What could be the root cause and how to fix it.
