"data error" on the ASR manager.

I have a customer that has followed document  https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2205946.1  and serverhostname:~ # /opt/asrmanager/bin/asr heartbeat  "Failed to generate heartbeat for ASR Manager due to data error."  Can you please advise what this error means please?
