Fixed Asset number and Category accidentally changed via Dataload

We have Oracle 11.5.10.2. Our fixed assets person used dataload to process a fixed asset disposal. There were on the phone and the dataload went astray. Somehow they managed to changed the fixed asset number of 107575 to 1/05/2017 which should be the retirement date. In addition the asset category of CE.NA was changed to BD.NA. The asset number and category cannot be manually changed back. I presume I will need to raise a service request with Oracle support to get a data fix.

Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone have any suggestions.
