P09131 - Populating Check Cleared Date

Hello,

Is there a way to have the check cleared date (GLKDC) populate without having the P09131 form W09131J display?  It looks like processing option #4 determines whether to display/not display the form but if processing option #4 is set to not display the form, it should still endorse the system date as the check cleared date but it doesn't.  When processing option #4 is set to not display the form, the check cleared date is blank.  Does anyone know if this is working as designed?

We are on 9.2.
