Impact of re-running R12825 Asset Account Balance Close

Hello,

I wanted to check the impact of re-running R12825 Asset Account Balance Close for prior year for following scenario:

For instance, there are few F0911 prior year records (FY16) which did not post to F1202 because of incorrect account and company values. After updating F0911s to correct values and then posting these to F1202 table, would it be okay to re-run R12825 Asset Account Balance Close for FY 16? Please do note that FY 17 records already exist for the CO and Asset combination having periodic entries.

Does FA Close also works like GA Annual Close, since I understand that in case of prior year adjustments, Annual Close can be run to update Balance Forwards as many times as it is required?
