APPS password change process in R12.1.3 and R12.2.X

Hi Team,

I need to know the apps password change process in R12.1 and R12.2 , what is the difference in between them, Is autoconfig manadatory after changing apps password?

Also we have multi node installation setup for Oracle EBS for R12.1.3 version

- 2 node RAC Database instances

- 2 web nodes having LB setup.

How do we change password in that setup? could you please help me out.

As per my knowledge , I will do the following steps, please correct if im wrong.

1> bring down all application services

2> change apps password on single application node using FNDCPASS

3> Run autoconfig on all database nodes and then all application nodes
