Negative quantity is allowed for inventory, but its behaving different for two different items while

Hi All,

I am trying to perform subinventory transfer from in 11.0.10.2 . The inventory parameter is checked to allow negative quantity, but its behaving different for two different items. For one item it is alllowing the transation with warning " Quantity will drive inventory negative", whereas for another item its not allowing the transfer with error message that : " Transaction quantity must be equal to or less than available quantity".

Please suggest me what could be the reason for this. Is there any setup at item level for this behavior.
